At  http://amigart.com/amigaone/ you can find some photos of AmigaOne G3 SE (ppcboot revision) running Debian Linux PPC 3.0.

In the screenshots you can see Debian 3.0 PPC distro running KDE2 & Gnome 1.4 , Sin from Hyperion/Activision (linuxppc demo version), Mozilla 1.0 and Uae-linuxppc.

More photos will follow.

Sourced: Amigart

Squareroot of all fluffiness.

I'd of much prefered to see actual screenshots, as apposed to photos.

Well, screenshots of GNOME 1.4 are still available, for example here, and KDE.org keeps screenshots of the old KDE2 here.

Hyperion has a bunch of Sin screenshots.

For UAE, just imagine whatever is on your Amigas and add your preferred XF86 window manager border around it.

Enjoy.

I think neally everyone knows what GNOME & KDE look like by know.

What's the point in taking photos anyway? The images look grimey, blurry and just generally crap. It can't be to proove that they arn't fake because anyone can display a picture on the screen.

There's nothing hard about taking a proper screen grab. I can understand about kernel text, but a Linux desktop? Pfft.

Yes let's crap all over the guys who took their time to take these photos.

*sigh*

Yes I was being sarcastic.  How would you feel if you posted some photos and then have people pissing on your efforts.
