I have the following one and It has worked flawlessly  I use it on a 1200 2000 and 500 without any problems The MV1200 is an external scandoubler for all Amigas which takes the standard Amiga PALor NTSC output and scandoubles it for use on a PC type VGA/SVGA monitor. It supports full 24bit colour in all non 15Khz modes. High precision TTL circuit used for pixel clock generation. The MV1200 also has an optional FlickerFixer module to promote interlaced screens to non-flickering displays

vpcs:yeah the external ones i had aswell as internal ones (2) , but problem with external ones is... they take too much room on the back of the machine....if anyone remeberd their a500 with the tvmodulator, same thing.. long and easy to rip out ;( and too easy to destroy some stuff inside...

not tried the eyetech one but i have used severals and they had various results.

cheers

Internal are best as far as picture quality,
and I'm pretty sure the Eyetech version is a
relabeled DCE unit which are great.

AFAIK, it won't fit with the PowerFlyer in there.  The internal SD/FF clips onto the LISA and ALICE chips.  Since the PowerFlyer clips onto the GAYLE there isn't enough room for both.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

Adolescent; Eyetech had two different internal models.

"We have one version of the SD/FF that just sits on the Lisa chip and gets
its remaining signals by plugging into the 23 pin connector"
Qoute from Eyetech mail.

This is the one I'm getting. Judging from the size of this SD/FF, I've reckoned that it can be fitted underneath the Mediator board, and there should be enough distance to the Gayle with the Powerflyer on top.

I hope :)
