A message/Press Release of Thendic can be found on Morphos.news.de

"Since our involvement and the earliest threats against MorphOS, we have had German and European experts checking the applicable law. If fact, in spite of the latest threats, we are looking forward to the timely release of MorphOS."

Check it out here

That handheld would have to have something spectacular to be accepted by the ordinary public. I mean the PDA market is already overcrowded and the big players have got the ground covered.

From their announcement they seem to be targetting the wider market rather than the small existing community. That could be something more than a challenge.

My personal opinion is that it makes more sense to only provide content to the already established PDA base. ala ACE, than to challenge the giants such as Compaq, Palm etc.

Sweet.

Love it how they sign "Best regards, Raquel Velasco and Bill Buck ". Sounds almost like a letter from your grand parents.

Looking forward to the release press-release.

As ever these arguments are academic. There is still no consumer ready solution from either party.
What the "Amiga community" spends most of it's energy on is unedifying bickering.  :-?
