An opensource-project called
Exult is re-writing Ultima VII so that it can be played on several modern platforms (an original copy of U7 is required as the game is still copyrighted). Currently there are binaries for platforms like Linux, MacOS, BeOS, Windows, etc..
Now if only someone would make an Amiga-port....
