If you purchased a Mediator board before December 13th, 2000, and are experiencing verticle lines on your video, you may have a buggy board.
The cause seems to be that the upper 4M of the 8M memory chunk accessable to the card are buggy. It appears that every fourth byte has a special bit
which is set after a write access, no matter which space the write was placed.
Please note this bug only affects the first batch of the mediator 1200 boards.
