Most of us by now have heard of "Divx", the high compression video format. Well now a new company is working on something better and whats more they plan on supporting Amiga.
3ivx plans to open source the code to their new video compression system which means all platforms can benefit from the technology, even Amiga (which is mentioned on their site). However this could be to good to be true, could it be a hoax? Well, we will all know on December 15th when 3ivx posts more information on their technology.
