CV64/3D damaged.
« on: May 30, 2009, 09:25:17 PM »
Hi,
I have noticed that my CV64/3D is missing a part on the upper left part!!!
I checked on Amiga info sites but I could not be able to see the exact type of part this is!
Can somebody send me a big photo of this part (front) for me to check? From some photos I notice it's similar to other components (small black blocks!) that are all the same in the card... anyway I want to be sure!

You mean where it looks like there's a chip missing? It's supposed to be like that. No CVs have a chip there.

No, no... it's not a chip!
It's a small almost cubic part... only some [mm] dimensions!!!
More upper and more to the left than the one your speaking of! To the extreme left and upper side!!! And on my card it's clear that it's broken...
Similar parts (they are all the same) has printed on them: 10-6 (perhaps a data code), H3 and a "2" on a circle...
I would like to be sure that the missing part is the same as the others...
A picture would be the best solution! :)

It's an SMT tantalum cap, same value as the others. Some boards have black ones, mine are yellow (10uF 10V).
