8-pin SCART? If the connector has only 8 pins, its probably not SCART.

Yea, I wondered about that.  It might be some subset of SCART that never caught on.

@ Lando

That's what I was looking for!

@xeron

According to the docs from Lando, Sony calls it a VTR input.

I use my 42" 1080p TV to display my output and it works a treat :-)

A friend called up and offered to let me pick thru electronic stuff that was otherwise going into a dumpster (I mean a skip, grin).  Sitting atop 2 rack-mount cabinets were two 25 inch Trinitrons. Each has 2 composite, 1 S-video, and 1 RGB multisync input.  There were also 2 remote controls that were never opened.  Model No: PVM-2530.

Is anyone running these with their Amiga or Toaster?  I'm hoping to find the pinout for the RGB input.

A quick update.

The Sony PVM-2030 and 2530 are stackable, cube-shaped, industrial monitors.  I have not yet connected the 2530 with analog RGB (a free time issue). Reading the specs, it seems it's not a multi-sync.  It's designed for 15 KHz, the native Amiga frequency.

The rack mounts they came with are going to be the new home for most of my Amigas.

I did connect it to a DVD player and a new digital tuner coverter box with an S-video cable.  It looked great.

If you spot one of these, snatch it up!
