WTB: GVP ROM 3.15

Hi,

I have a GVP HC2+ with the old v1.0 boot roms and scsidev.device as a device driver. According to information around, this device driver can only handle 1 device, and locks up the SCSI bus when scanning it.

The GVP 3.15 boot rom fixes this problem, and I already have a bootdisk with the BindDrivers driver and it works like a charm with both a harddrive and a CD drive attached. However, using a boot disk is useable but can be a bit annoying in the long run, so can anyone burn one of these ROMs for me at a decent price?

Not sure if this will help at all, but I've got a single 28-pin DIP pulled from a GVP combo card that reads: 1991 GVP OMNI 3.5 B062 you're welcome to. Not sure of the difference between 3.15 and 3.5 or if your card would not accept this particular BIOS config...

At least the ROM that needs to be replaced is a 28 pins chip as well, so it might work. Sending you a PM.

Ahh okay, I'd think so too then. GVP didn't monkey around too much with the architecture of the SCSI bus AFAIK.
