Yes. I bought a SanDisk ultra II 2gb cf card and now it works beautifully.

Great stuff - I've ordered a ScanDisk too so hopefully this will be more friendly with my PCMCIA card and expansion card combination.

Yep, this problem happens with the integral CF card. I already send my card back to amigakit. But the replacement card has the same problem. Better use a higher quality one, like the sandisk ultra II.
