Wow man Look a FMV modlue on EBAY... You know I was going to walk 5 blocks and buy a PS3 with a builtin Bluray, and linux capability, but you know I think I'll just get one of these instead. What a bargain! It's also 15 years old and nearly impossible to replace.

Par for the course the specs are listed as mpeg2, and it states your "dealer" can update the rom to play incompatible CDI discs.

I bet the guy read this thread and posted the FMV on ebay for that price.

Alexh, if you want to question the practicality of some hardware, you will have a lot more to do on amiga.org I think

I am sure redrumloa has some reasons for using it, be it curiosity, nostalgia or whatever, and I can definitely identify with that. It's an old amiga playing fullspeed video at a decent quality, and that's awesome in itself, even if the task is considered trivial and even archaic by modern standards.

Remember, most things you can do with an amiga you can still do better and faster on a PC.
