Wanted: Original Workbench 1.3.3 disks
« on: November 13, 2008, 07:46:38 PM »
I've got two Amiga which need them:  A CDTV and an A500, both of which have 1.3 ROMs in them.  I'd be interested in doing the 3.1 ROM/new support ROM hack to the CDTV, but that's for another thread.

Meanwhile, I'd be happy to pay for one or even two original WB 1.3 floppy sets that still work.  USA ones would be preferred, although I have a German 1.3 disk that more or less works, when it works.  I understand 1.3.3 has a few extras that are CDTV specific, unless I'm mistaken (infrared port driver for CDTV specific IR mouse?).

I hope someone can hook me up.  Thanks!

Will a 1.3 workbench disk work on a 1.2 A500 system?  Unfortunately, I'm on the 'need it' side too, as my unbacked original died a long time ago.

Hi Tron2k2,

Hve you considered going to Issaquah?

Just a hop, skip and jump.... :-D

(Edit. It's been so long now, my bad, Snoqualmie, and/or Ravensdale. Still, same distance!!)

So I guess that A500, 600, 1000, 2000, CDTV, CD32, are pure garbage then? Thanks for posting here.
