@Rafaele

You are living in the past.  OS9 has as much to do with modern Apple, as mud brick has to do with Burj Dubai.

@Moto

No need to apologise, it's just the usual HBK (Hide Behind a Keyboard) Syndrome.  The only thing that annoyed me is that the original intent of the thread has been lost several times over.  I really started the thread because I wanted to talk Miggy, nothing else.  It was supposed to be about how cool that screenshot is (or at least how cool I think it is).

If it wasn't for the fact that my original post seemed to confuse people, I would never dared use the 'M' word.

Still, as someone else pointed out earlier - it's not my place to say what people post, if going over the same old Mac R0xx0r / Mac Suxx0r  chestnut floats their boats, who am I to stop them?

Well I deliberately decided not to mention the other "cool thing" as it might be a controversial thing around these parts and I didn't want to draw attention away from the real subject by attracting a bunch of narrow-minded idiots raving on about how they hate XYZ.

Hmmm...  Seems Andy was asking for it.  :-P

Fair play sir.  :-D  That sentence was the fruit of bitter experience of the rabid frenzy some people get themselves into at the mere mention of the 'M' word.

You must admit though, it's a frightenly accurate description of certain participants. :-)

I do agree.  Trolling was never so easy.  Maybe next time don't be so anxious to tell everyone about the Mac and just tell us about the Mac (in a separate well insulated thread of course).  That way, the thread about SabreMSN can be all about the great new AGA smileys.  And the thread about your shiny new book can be about how macs are poo. ;-)

Furthermore people complaining that this thread was taken off topic are frankly wrong. The way I see it there are two distinct topics being discussed. Of course, it's not so pleasant to read for most.

Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

It's a darn shame CBM died, teh Amiga had so much right.  AREXX was brilliant back in the day, had Amiga had a surviving parent I would not be surprised to see that extended to the Workflows of today long before they appeared in OS X.

Did Amiga designers ever think of an XGrid type utility?

I hear you there, if only Commodore had survived, the Amiga might have been a real alternative.  Damn shame.
