HDtoolbox & 1230scsi
« on: November 29, 2002, 10:28:14 AM »
My scsi hd works fine, but I would like to do a repartitioning since 3.9 support the bigger partitions. Upon starting hdtoolbox it only displays the standard scsi.device which represent my IDE hd and cdrom. This menu however doesn't appear. AFAIK it's a a1230scsi.device as stated in the sysinfo prog. The command "HDToolbox a1230scsi.device" also doesn't work...

thanks in advance..

Click once on the HDToolbox icon, choose "Icon information" from the menu and add the tooltype ASKDEVICE. Or call it from a shell window with "hdtoolbox askdevice". IIRC the correct name is 1230scsi.device so "hdtoolbox 1230scsi.device" should work, too.

Bye,
Thomas
