Now, here's a thing...
I got my Amiga out from the cupboard and hooked it up to my new Samsung LCD TV.
I was delighted to find that the picture was pretty decent, even on the RF cable, and more to the point it was displaying the interlaced 640x512 mode with no flicker.
Result!
So I'm ordering a proper RGB -> Scart cable from AmigaKit without delay.
However, after a couple of hours of trying out demos, games (SWOS mainly) a bizarre thing started happening.
An intermittent "spike" (which is the only way I can describe it) started happening where I would momentarily lose the picture (replaced by TV static). I'm using the RF cable in the aerial input by the way...
Other than that, the system appeared to be unaffected.
Does anyone have any ideas what this might be?
Cheers!
