A-One G4 Drop-in compatibility?
« on: August 27, 2003, 04:00:09 PM »
Hey all,

I have a PC I'd like to drop an AmigaOne board into.  It's your standard Intel board, but the parts that will stay are everything else:

ATI Radeon 9500 video card
Maxtor 7200 RPM UATA-133 HDD
Epson Floppy Disk Drive
Antec tower case w/ 350W PSU
Verbatim 52x CD Burner

I have not purchased the board yet as I am waiting for OS 4 to be released.

Any insight on this project would be appreciated!

Thanks!

@Firefly:

> ATI Radeon 9500 video card

Should work OK.

> Maxtor 7200 RPM UATA-133 HDD

Likewise.

> Epson Floppy Disk Drive

Not sure. I haven't bothered with a floppy drive.

> Antec tower case w/ 350W PSU

Should work as long as it's ATX.

> Verbatim 52x CD Burner

Again, should work OK.

Hope this helps.
