A500 PSU voltages
« on: September 21, 2008, 02:42:12 PM »
I have two A500 PSUs with suspicious -12V;
One is 'heavy' type and it outputs -15,58V
the other one is 'light' type and it has -9,77V

Both were measured with no load, and both have ok +5 and +12.

Would it be safe to use them with A500?

I would test them with load, if the values don't come closer to -12V I'd probably not use them myself. The 9.77 is just barely within 20%, but the 15.58 is more than 20%.
