Hi all just put a 4gig cf card in one of my classic
A1200s got all the icons ram, work, worbench when I tried to load software it claims I have less than 1meg in work (actually well over 3.5gig)tried to load it into ram (8meg) still tells me  only 1 meg
It will load the software into worbench (8meg)but that will fill up fast  I even tried to drag it into work draw from workbench it dragged ok but when I deleted it from workbench it would not load .please help  :madashell:

Like mentioned in the other thread:

Do you use Amiga OS 3.1 or lower? If so, you should keep your partitions under 2 GB. OS 3.1 and lower have a limit of 2 GB per partition using FFS. Using larger partitions can cause weird errors, like the ones you are experiencing now.

If you want larger partitions, you should either use OS3.5/3.9 or another filesystem.
