The cards worth today are as follows (as a guide):
CBM 68030 - $80-120
GVP 68030 with 16mb RAM - $120-$160
Fusion Forty 68040 - $100-$140
GVP 68040 with 16mb RAM - $170-$220
Phase5/DCE 68060 with 128 RAM - seen it at $450 to $600. key is whenever it was ever seen.
TekMagic 060 with 128 RAM

all in my/our humble opinion.

Not really considering this aging technology, especially the other TekMagic 060 board i use regularly has been running ok for the last 10 years.
The TekMagic 060 is one of its kind.  There isn't too many 68060 boards around.  I consider this board to be the best for  a2000, the Phase5/DCE is 2nd, imho.

First, I think if you are asking $500 US dollars that it is a very fair selling price.  Of course I am prejudiced because I own two of these cards myself and agree they are great accelerators for the A2000.  But in my opinion, they are not the best ever made for the A2000, so I disagree with you there.  There was one board that I consider better.  It was called the DKB Wildfire and had an 060/50MHz, 128mb RAM possible AND it had an onboard NIC and local PCI bus connection/connector.  You can see it here, under A2000 accelerators.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

Thanks.  I think you may be right about it.  I looked over the specs, and they seem impressive.  The SCSI-2 speed matches the TekMagic060, but the Wildfire has the ethernet on board.  Tough to beat that RJ45 plug, when we all pay extra for ethernet zorro2 cards.  In all the years with amiga, I never had the opportunity to work with the Wildfire.

TekMagic060 FPU relies on 060 libraries and is crippled compared to Blizzard or Apollo boards, so for instance OxyPatcher gives a speed boost on non-supported instructions AFAIR.

I have a Tekmagic 2060, and also a Blizzard 2060, and I must say I profer the Blizzard. When I first got my Tekmagic I had trouble finding an A2000 motherboard revision it would work with. Also, the Temagic Scsi controller isn't NSD compliant, so it only boots from filesystems in the Rom, so no booting from SFS or PFS partitions as far as I'm aware. I think the Blizzard scsi is a bit faster too.

The Tekmagic is a great card if you've got the right revision motherboard though  :-)  I have my boot partition using FFS with Directory cache, and all others are SFS, works fine.

Yep, some A2000 have bus noise which TekMagic won't like.
Dunno about problems finding the right mobo, but all 4 of my A2000 revision 6.2 motherboards "like" the TekMagic.  It could be luck or hardware usually likes me ;-)
