FS Amiga 4000
« on: July 17, 2008, 11:54:54 PM »
Amiga 4000 for sale.

It was working up until a couple of weeks ago but since attempting to install a cd drive, the floppy no longer works.  The Amiga also does not seem to send out any signal to the tv all that is coming up is a blank white screen.

Offers.

Pics can be emailed if you make a resonable offer.

Really don't want to sell it but I do not have the expertise to get it up and running sadly :(

I will try to answer any q's.

It is a 030 @ 25mhz

400 mb hard drive
16 mb ram
motherboard
daughterboard

Its basically a bog standard no frills a4000.

I will post worldwide so long as buyer pays for shipping.

Are you SURE you want to give up so easily?

If you want to post me the motherboard, I'll be happy to fault-test it for you.

I'm away for two weeks starting next week though.

Regards

No problem, rather that than see you sell it for peanuts and be left with no A4000.

I'm going away on Tuesday to Germany with work, then back in the UK Wednesday night, and away on holiday on Thursday. Best bet is to keep hold of it for a couple of weeks, then send it over.

I'll PM you my address.

sell it and buy an EFIKA.  It'll be the best decision you've made.

Best would be to fix the 4000 and get an Efika. :-)
