PCMCIA Memory cards?
« on: July 16, 2008, 05:04:54 AM »
Hi,

I have a PCMCIA card adapter from Amigakit for a 1200 with Roms 3.0 and I have tried a Kingston 2 gig card and machine does like it. What brand of cards have you found to work with Amiga's.
Thanks ,
Xanaa

SanDisk are usually ok.

Not actually had problems with PCMCIA adapters before... only IDE adapters.

The older Kingston cards are OK.   However recently Kingston changed manufacturers and the new batch with the picture of the flower on the front of the CF card does not work.

We sell an an option CF cards that are 100% tested with the Amiga when you buy the CF adapter.
