You need an appropriate cable, and two terminators. So for two hard drives, you need a cable with five connectors (one for each drive, one for the controller, and one for each terminator).

You don't need any software - the scsi device (cybppc.device IIRC) is automatically available so you just use HDToolBox to create partitions then format them through Workbench.

And yes, SCSI is much faster than IDE. It also uses significantly less CPU time so everything will be faster! :-)

Not so easy as you need 68to50 pin adapter(s), too, upper byte terminating type.

Simple - don't!

If you attach SCSI-2 devices (50-pin, 10MHz) to the CSPPC SCSI bus, the entire SCSI chain will be slowed down to 10MB/s maximum speed.

If you keep only SCSI Ultra-Wide (68-pin, 20MHz) and Scsi Ultra (50 pin, 20MHz) devices on the CSPPC bus, it will operate up to 40MB/s (when addressing Ultra-Wide devices) and 20MB/s (when addressing ultra devices). Yes, you can have these connected at the same time without losing speed.

Do yourself a favour - don't cripple your CSPPC scsi bus, just buy a cheap zorro adapter and use that for any SCSI-2 devices you need to access.
