Pegasos II
« on: May 24, 2008, 08:30:26 AM »
I bought second hand pegasos 2, and bought a brand new tower for it, I install peg2 board without any problem, now point is, in first boot peg works well and boot, when I reset or shut down and resart computer it does not boot ,no screen, if I unplugged power cable and wait few minutes then it works again.

Yesterday I shut down device but this morning it stoped working, is there any idea ? is it can be same problem as amiga one board cause of low bios battery

The only common prob I've ever heard from was the CPU-card not sitting tighly, it needs to be pushed in real hard.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Don't even try to push the CPU-card real hard, or you will contact Thomas Knabel (bPlan) very soon. :-D

With serial cable you could monitor from other computer what is going in the boot process. I cant remember details but someone at MorphZone could help.
