Did you just say you formatted the hard disk? If so, it's now empty and you'll have to reinstall the operating system. Excuse me if I misunderstood.

I don't know if I formated it or not, Its just not there any more. It is not showing any place and the Amiga will not boot without the WB disk. I don't have an install disk so I have ordered one. I just have to wait a few weeks for it to clear customs.

(Will dig out networking notes)

EDIT: Due to occasional interest, I’ve just emailed various authors with regards to uploading the collection of networking notes to the internet.
