The "internal" scan magic consists of an internal socketed board which fits over Lisa (obtaining the 24 colour bits), and an external part which plugs into the RGB port (obtaining syncs).

I've got one around somewhere, will try to post a pic later if I can find the power cable for my scanner (my digital camera is crap).

Regards

Not all of them have this external part. Some versions have another socketted board which fits over the Alice chip but it does the same thing.

Matey,

Unfortunately I cannot find the power cable for my scanner. I must have thrown it out during my recent clearout.

If you want to post a pic of the broken trace on yours, I'll compare it and advise which pin it should be connected to. Best I can do I'm afraid.

(Arse, my scanner is now useless with no 15V adapter for it. Must be more careful when having a clear out next time.)
