According to the manual of the samsung 226bw, 1680x1050
resolution needs the following settings:
horizon freq 65,290
verticalfreq 59,954
pixel clock  146,250
polarity (h/v)  -/+

hmmm, I tried again and there is no way I can get all the values at the correct level at the same time :(

The big book of amiga hardware says
in 8 bit mode the piv has a pixel clock of 135 Mhz.
I'm afraid you have to settle with a lower resolution
on your 226bw.

I'm pretty ok with running it at 1024 x 768 for now :) thanks for all the help guys!!
