Harms Professional 030 Plus (a500 Version) Jumpers??
« on: May 08, 2008, 12:36:58 AM »
Hi i have finally got zip ram for my harms card but i don' have any manual for it so i am unsure what jumpers to use.

The Zip ram is full populated (also does anyone know which way they are put in, i have put them with the writing facing away from the 68000 socket)

Also i don't have the on/off switch is this important, if so can i make one (from a at psu switch?)?

Many Thanks

Thanks Heaps.
I have figured out that i have put the ram the wrong way, but what the difference with:

8 MB, 1-16, 020000-09ffff
8 MB, 1-16, 4000000-407ffff
As i don't know which one to use, is there a english manual?

Sehr schade, aber das Handbuch is nur auf Deutsch vorhanden. :)

Actually, these mem jumpers are a pretty cool feature. Depending on how they're set, the unit's expansion RAM will be mapped either within the A500 autoconfig space, or outside (useful if you already have RAM expansions which map only within the autoconfig space).
