Fitting a Toaster 2000 in an A4000

Hi there,
How can i fit a Toaster 2000 on my A4000-D ?
I tried to take off the little back plate (the one that maintain card), but it's not enough..

Please tell me what is the trick ?

Don't do it!!!

Don't go hacking the nice A4000 case, you should just sell the Toaster 2000 and get a Toaster 4000 for it.  They are not that hard to get these days and many can be found for less than $100.

Then you can take advantage of the color transitions too.

Yeah, I agree. The Toaster 2000 was made for the Amiga 2000 and the Toaster 4000 for the Amiga 4000 and the AGA chipset. A Toaster 4000 in an Amiga 2000 is ok but it doesn't work the other way round. Not very well anyway and not without cutting pieces of metal from the chassis of your A4000.

I remember people were chopping parts of their A3000's out way back when. I can also attest to the A2000+VT4000 combo since I gots one of those.

Hi,
no, I won't hack the A4kD case at all.
I'll receive a VT-4000 soon, and the VT2000 will get back in my small A2K which is lacking of ram (1mb chip + 4mb Fast that's why I wanted to put it in the a4k).

Can someone bought me the lastest Toaster CD to newtek (i've the 4.1 that doesn't have LW...), i'll pay with Paypal.
