Do you have the "idefix" or "loadide" command in your startup sequence?
It sounds as if you may not have.

As Lemmink suggested, I also suggest you re-install idefix after booting form your hard drive.

The problem is solved!!

Only with reinstalling idefix the problem was still there...but  a vesalia technician told me about doin a SKIPROMUPDATE in the start-sequence so i did that as it is written in this FAQ amije posted the link for.

this skipromupdate is for switching of a new scsi-device it says. and reinstalled idefix after that..and now everything is working fine!!!

and again thanks everybody for the quick help,without this forum i probably would have given up by now!!! :-D  :-D
