Thanks! The pictures aren't all that great, but they should give someone an idea...
I should clarify, by the way, that it's solderless only in so far as I didn't have to actually solder anything onto the A2000's mainboard. I can pull the neobitz out if I need to and no one would ever know it was there.
S-Video on my 46" LCD looks really good, even in high res interlaced mode.
A vaguely related tangent:
In December I was talking with my girlfriend about the level of knowledge (or lack thereof) that a lot of the Jr. developers I've been running across have. I, in curmudgeon fashion, mentioned that in the old days we were a lot more in tune with the hardware because we had to be, because there wasn't an internet to go download an easy fix from. When I dug the Amiga and all of its related stuff out of the basement last month, I started flipping through the manuals. When I got to the end of the user's manual and found the schematics for the mainboard I started laughing because it was exactly what I was talking about. When's the last time you've bought a computer that included a schematics for the motherboard (or any other component)?! Anyway, when I saw the A1000 mod on youtube, I wondered how hard it would be to do the same thing with the A2000. Then I remember that all of the information I'd need was right there in the user's manual. A quick glance showed that all of the connections I'd need were right there.
