I have had an amiga since gradeschool, from A500 to A4000 tower. Still have A4000 with warp accelerator 040/40. My main problem is that I have a Migraph flatbed 2400 optical dpi SCSI scanner.
It works great under the amiga of course, but it is hard to transfer my scans over to pc.
I have since configured and ran Winuae and I am able to load my custom scan software "colorkit Pro", but even though my PC detects my SCSI scanner, there seems to be no way to communicate, or emulate SCSI through UAE? I ran tools like SCSI inquire on amiga, and it doesn't find anything?
Is there a way to get SCSI to work on winUAE?
I've heard that Amithlon does a true SCSI emulation?
I've also tried using sane under linux, but alas there are no drivers for my amiga scanner, when I run the command "sane-find-scanner" it of course locates the scanner on scsi device sg0, but again no drivers.
LoL, when I boot up in XP, it finds the scanner, says
found new hardware MIGRAPH 2400 SCSI SCANNER,
but of course there are no drivers for windows.
Since it looks like there will never be drivers released for this scanner for other OS's, I figure using an emulated amiga running the original scan software should work, but I can't seem to communicate or emulate SCSI on winuae?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
