Could it be Burntime ?

No it couldn't be, as Burntime dates from 1993.

@arnljot

I browsed these sites from time to time, without success until now, hence this thread.  I have just browsed all the Hall of Light games that have screenshots and are older than 1990 : the game I'm looking for is not among them.

I played this game at a cousin's home, who has since thrown his Amiga and games to the bin (no I don't forgive him).  He remembers the game (and could confirm my memory) but not the name.

You're thinking of Cinemaware's S.D.I. =)

Fun game (and unfortunately shared its name with a game from Activision)

Am I ?  Yes, I am !

I didn't see that level among the HOL screenshots, but now I remember the map and the control center.

When I said "Defender of the Crown", I should have thought "Cinemaware".

Wow, thank you very much.

Yup -- the level you're thinking of is when you fly to the Soviet space station and have to fight off KGB agents as you try to get to the girl.

And I suppose that it's more the last level than the first, although it is the only one I have seen.

IIRC it's not the last level -- it's just one of the more advanced events in the game (and if I recall correctly you have to do it more than once sometimes).

Of course it's been forever so don't quote me on this.

Anyway my word "level" doesn't suit Cinemaware games.
