http://www.atari.com/us/support/faq/moo2_mac.asp

as long as you meet the requirements it will work (not tested pesonally)

# 68040 or PowerPC Processor (33-megahertz or higher recommended)
# 8MB of RAM (16MB recommended)
# 5 MB Free Hard Drive Space (75 MB Free recommended)
# System 7.1 or higher
# Double-speed or faster CD-ROM drive
# 256-color monitor
too lazy to use shift key properly...

Yes, my system easily meets that requirement. As i remember somebody tried to run it earlier with one of the mac emus unsuccessfully - and i don't want to spend big money on a mac game which don't run under mac emu.

I'm after moo2 on mac for ages, but cannot find any. (including torrents)
There's some copy on amazon, but unfortunatelly softwares doesn't shipping to outside of USA. (I'm living in EU)

Similar games (Civ2, Warcraft,warcraft2, caesarII) running perfectly on my system.(68040/33+Voodoo3) Some video playback lagging but thats all. (maybe if i spent more time to optimalise, it won't lagging anymore, but i have no time for that.)

SO i not tested, but i think it is runnable ok on similar systems.
Amiga 500: 68030@14MHz/68882@40MHz/ 5.5MB RAM/80MB HDD/Delfina FE Sound card/Kickstart 3.1/OS 3.1

Macmini 10,1 PPC 1.58GHz, 1GB Ram, 80GB HDD 5400rpm, Ati Radeon 9200/32MB, , MorphOs 3.1

PowerBook 15" PPC 1.67GHz, 2GB Ram, 250GB HDD, ATI 9700/128MB, MorphOS 3.1

I think you`re dead right to try and get a definitive answer. There's no reason I can see that the main part of the Astronomy program Red Shift 2 won't work for me with Shapeshifter - but it doesn't.   :-?

How about Alone in the Dark 1-3? Has anybody run those games successfully?

As i rememeber Alone in the Dark 1 runs fine under mac emu. I did't have the chance to test 2 and 3 so far.
