I was just loking at this. I may be temped to get one if I don't find a scan doubler foor my CV64 3D soon. How easy is it to upgrade them to 4mb?

Sorry to sound like a dumbass, I'm just getting back into the Amiga and forgot a lot in the time I have not used it.

hehehe im usure myself .. i think it stands for Real Time Graphics .. might have something to d with the "3D" part of the name...

They are both RTG. RTG means ReTargetable Graphics which means screens can be opened on different hardware to the Amiga's built-in graphics chipset.

The CV643D has 3D acceleration, but it's not very good, and apparently the CV64 is a better card for 2D stuff anyway.

I used to have a CV643D sold it a while back .. wish i didnt though becuase i want to get a graphics card for my A500T and theyre so expensive  :-o

You can get the extra RAM from a couple of S3 Trios. I followed moto's lead HERE to upgrade my CV64.
