FAT95 on MAC
« on: January 13, 2008, 04:22:50 PM »
I got myself a PCMCIA > COMPACT FLASH adapter for my A1200 so I can transfer files from my A1200 to my MAC.

Now for my query - is it possible to format, read and right on MAC (OSX Leopard)? If yes, what program do I need?

Thanks!

FAT has been integrated into MacOS for ages. Maybe you need to activate the feature, but I think it'll work right away. :-)

No need to activate anything. It works out of the box, no additional software or drivers are needed.

Yep, if you really need to format the cards (why?), disk utility will handle MBR partition tables and FAT32 filesystems right out of the box.
