WANTED: Art Expression by Softlogik
« on: January 02, 2008, 07:31:20 PM »
I wasn't even aware that this structured drawing program for the Amiga existed (I think it's now out-of-print).  I think I've tried them all, except this one....still searching for the perfect one!

So I'm looking for a copy to try out.

If you have one please PM me!  Thanks!

A great and very fun program!  I used this back in the mid 90s to design an entire card game.  But I must warn you that it IS buggy and it WILL crash from time to time.  So you MUST keep saving your work often, to a different filename each time!  You can't just keep saving over itself because it saves corrupted crap every so often.  Have fun and good luck :-)
Wanna try a wonderfull strategy game with lots of handdrawn anims,
Magic Spells and Monsters, Incredible playability and lastability,
English speech, etc. Total Chaos AGA

Thanks.  I'm still looking for a good, stable and capable structured drawing program for the Amiga.

ProVector seemed interesting, but it too was crashy.  DrawStudio is quite capable, but I have to run it in 256 colour mode, or the bounding boxes disappear on my Cybergraphx setup.  Still it's the best I've found.

Would be great if Art Expression wasn't so crashy.  I'm used to it by now though (trying to use 12 year old software often has unpredictable results).
