AmiKit on USB pen
« on: December 27, 2007, 12:14:42 PM »
Hi all,
Well I thought I would try out my new 4 gig USB pen, so I put AmiKit 1.4.2 and WinAUE 1.4.5 onto it.
I get 519 meg used and 3.48 free. It works nicely.
Its not as fast loading up as its is on HD but its not that slow either.
I am using AmitKit on USB pen now with AWeb 3.5.09

I have found no problems.

UPDATE

I also tried it on my Wifes PC no previouse Amikit on that, and it also works perfectly.

Congratulations!

I would recommend to use AmiKit hardfile with USB flash disks. The read/write operations will be much faster. Here's the guide how to do it.
