X-Surf 3cc + Wireless Adapter
« on: February 14, 2008, 04:47:34 PM »
Following this link http://www.ggsdata.se/Datorer/en.html, it says that you can access internet wireless using this card and the wireless adapter. Is that possible? The only solution I know to access the internet through wireless in an A4000 is buying a Prism2 compatible PCI card. Or am I wrong?

Not sure which product you're referring to on that site, but if it's one of the wireless bridges, then yes it will work.

Oops! Sorry! I was referring to "Audio & Networking" submenu and about the X-Surf Zorro card with the wireless adapter. :-)

You can use ANY wireless device with ethernet I/O. Routers, dongles, adapters etc.

I use a belkin wireless router, but you can use any.

As for adapters, I did once try an X-box MN-740 (which is a Dlink DGL 3420) and it worked.
