Without "classic Amiga" software piracy, all of the applications and games that have been made throughout the 80's and 90's will eventually be lost due to corrupted floppy disks or cd's. Even worse, people just throw all this "old junk" away if they have no interest for it.
So for me, I see it as a necessity in preserving the Amiga and it's software for future generations and even for historical reasons.
If for example in 100 years time, there's an Amiga computer collection in a computer museum then how can anyone understand what the machine truly is without software? The software tells the story. A computer is an ornament if not for software.
