Hi All,

I am in the lucky postion of aquireing a A1200 with a BlizzerdPPC with BVison and a midiator card with a Voodoo 5 and Network card.

Basicaly never used an amiga of over 10 yars and would like to get back into computing, So have installed 4.1 so far so good but I am stuggling to get anything to work. My main aim is to get on the net so I got a http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...products_id=63

So how do I check what is attached to the mediator and check it is working?

Thanks

Barry!

Wow you've chosen quite a handfull for your first Amiga in 10 years!

If you have installed OS4.1 then use the extra's installer to install Ranger, you can use that to see if what is connected to your Mediator is picked up.

The only PCI network cards that works with OS4.1 are cards based on the Realtek 8029 chipset.

Have a good read of the FAQ's and this blog:

http://www.hd-zone.com/ and http://blog.hyperion-entertainment.biz/

Good luck with your project.

Steve.
