@HammerD
I used a "Silverline" tool which is basically a Dremel (and is compatible with Dremel bits). I used Dremel cutting discs to cut the sections out of the PSU housing.

@bigmac
Do you mean the solder points for the power connector on the A4000 motherboard, or the connectors on the ATX converter cable?

Cool...just curious where you got the black edging around the back of the power supply "hole" you cut (and what it is called?) and also the wire mesh... :)

thanks!!

Btw, I picked up all the tools I need to mod the power supply and the case itself.

I did a small test cut on a spare A4000 Power Supply housing and boy is there alot of sparks!! :)  First time I've ever used a dremel so it was interesting :)  It did make a clean cut through the metal, but it is clear you have to have a steady hand to do this :)

I need something to keep the power supply casing in place while I cut.  I don't have a vice right now :-/  I will post some pix when I am done :)

Rubber edging from here.
Wire mesh came from B&Q :-)

Also I used two of those spring-loaded grips to hold the casing steady while I cut it.
