PCMCIA cards experience?
« on: November 21, 2007, 09:46:38 PM »
Greetings y'all!...found a couple of PCMCIA cards in my parts box and wondering if they are compatible with the A-1200's pcmcia port?
One is an EPSON 2MB RAM pcmcia card..
another card is: SOHOware pcmcia 16bit ethernet pc card..
and the last one:
CompuCable USB2 CardBus pcmcia controller, has 2 usb connectors on the other end...
Wonder if anyone had experimented with any of these & if there are programs for it?....Tony....
Thanks A-Org!

What type exactly? I know there are NE2000 compatible cards from SOHOware, they might work with cnet.device.  You might just try that if you aren't sure. If you are lucky, you can network your Amiga with any TCP/IP stack around. The driver is excellent.

Definitely no. Cardbus doesn't work in the Amiga.
