and what, like the Amiga community would not if Amiga Inc, Hyperion and eyetech did the same? come on, Amiga users are the biggest bunch of blind faith followers I have ever seen/known and still know.

I think you've missed my point.  Go back to reading what it was I was replying to.

I've never said anything for or against Amiga users in this thread.

Hi!

will you add support for themes in os4?

Like, in windowsXP for example, where
you can download a theme, with visual styles, icons, backdrops, sounds and screensavers all in one package.
You then hit go, and your os looks brand new.

I think this feature would be VERY welcomed as
a lot of amiga boys are fanatic about the look of their
WB.

I feel here that I must point out from my experience that macheads will cheer for ANYTHING Apple does as long as Apple says it's good regardless of the actual underlying technical issues and quality.

It may be you that has missed my point, you see, it is my opinon that Amiga users act the same when it come to the Amiga.

Do you know the old saying? "THOSE WHO LIVE IN GLASS HOUSES SHOULDN'T CAST STONES" ?
There was a time I can remember computers were fun...I miss my A1200.

Hopefully not too late... ;-)

1) What is the state of debugging tools in OS4.0?  Does ExecSG now include the basic logic behind Enforcer, GuardianAngel, etc. and it's just a matter of "switching it on"?  Or do these tools still exist as external programs?
2) Given the 68K emulator, are there any hurdles in debugging 68K code vs. PPC code?
3) Long ago I had read that the API call for patching OS functions (sorry, not a C programmer so don't remember the name) that so many OS3.x patches/commodities/etc. relied on was being retired to foster a more stable OS.  But SnoopDos 3.8 68K apparently still runs on OS4 with no alterations.  What's the story here?
4) Truthfully now, how many hours a day do you spend answering email? ;-)

Thanks,

Todd

Ok, Ben.

1# Could you do some kind of gentlemen agreement between OS4/MOS teams so that endless flame wars would end? Every day at ANN.lu is just a remake of yesterday.

I believe that if "the command comes from the top", ie from you and Mr. Buck, maybe the users could follow the example.

2# question: is the BlizzardPPC version confirmed, what were the results of your survey?
