Micronik A1200T zorro problems
« on: July 07, 2003, 04:30:39 PM »
Hi, I just bought myself a secondhand micronik tower (the metal one) with a Z2i rev 4.02 zorro busboard.
Thing is, I can't get any zorro cards to work, I've tried a spectrum, a X-surf and a Delfina Lite, without success. The boards show up in the early startup menu, showboards etc, but I can't even ping the Xsurf, the spectrum gives nothing but garbage output, and when I run delfmem to initialize the Delfina Lite, the amiga hangs...
I've tried moving the boards around in all zorro slots and running only one board at the time, but to no use.

Full system specs:
A1200 rev 1d1 motherboard (the one without timing bugs, AFAIK)
Kickstart 3.1
Blizzard PPC-240/060-60 (overclocked from 50 MHz) with 128 MB FastRAM and SCSI
Blizzardvision gfx card
X-surf ethernet card
Delfina Lite soundcard
OS 3.9 bb2 (without the exec.library v45 rom update)

Anyone?

Thanks in advance for all suggestions :)

regards,
Paul

i had one of theese , what i had to do was quite simple... i unplugged all cards on the first boot.

then i took 1 by 1 card..

anyway i switched to mediator as the z2i is really stinky...atleast for gfx-cards...

goodluck...
Whats up with all the hate!

I just tried reinstalling the old 50 MHz oscillator on the blizzard, to see if the overclocking caused the problems. But it still doesn't work...
