How do I configure Workbench to use P96?

I finally have my Voodoo3 working with my mediator.  However, workbench doesn't appear to be using the RTG library.   What do I need to do to get workbench to use P96?

I set the P96 mode to 640x480xTrueColor using the P96Settings application.  The screen mode looks fine when I use the "test" button.

Pick a Picasso mode in the regular Screenmode prefs.
