CHINON FB-357A HD Disk Drive
« on: September 23, 2007, 10:55:03 AM »
Ive got the original FB-357A disk drive that came with my A4000 and Ive put it into my tower and the cable was to short, the cable has a twist on the end.

I have got a new longer cable without the twist and Ive just read that the HD drive needs a cable with a twist in the end to work as a HD drive.

Can anyone confirm this?

Df0: does not need a twist.. straight cable in mine too.

Also i think the twist in a standard floppy cable is wrong for adding df1: i think you need to make a custom cable for this..
