Amiga 500 plus question as just bought one

Hi there i won a big on ebay for a working amiga 500 plus

I realise i need to remove the battery right away when i get it

Do capacitors really need replacing in these or will they be ok. I read 500 seriies does not need them replacing like with the 1200 but unsure if true.

Also it has no workbench disks which i want so what workbench would have come will they be 2.04 ones?

I also want to get a 1mb expansion for the trapdoor do it has 2mb will the following be ok

Unlike the surface mount capacitors of later Amigas, the A500 through hole capacitors don't really need replacing since they don't fail as much.

If I understood your question, yes.  I got my RAM expansion from AmigaKit.com which upgraded my A500+ to 2 meg Chip RAM.
