Trumpcard500 questions
« on: September 19, 2007, 03:28:16 PM »
Does anyone have documentation for the trumpcard500?

I'm trying to find out if I can upgrade the 48-50Meg SCSI hard disk that's in it.

Also is there a procedure for "cloning" a disk on the Amiga? I have amiga explorer if that'd help.

Pics of trumpcard in question:

I second some documentation. I've got a trumpcard 2000, and I can't get it to recognize anything in HDtoolbox. I get a guru when I go to hdtoolbox even with nothing but the drive it came with..love to ditch the 200mb drive for a 2gig!!

I have said this before in the forums, so I edited it to reflect only your needs. Most drives install with the "original" install disk (ie this case IVS Trumpcard disk).
The loss of drive showing up is usually a tooltype issue. HDToolbox only reflects scsi_device.

Add to DEVS:
device handler

Add to HDToolbox "tool types"
scsi_device_name=IVS_SCSI.device

Here are the IVS device handler names:

IVS Trumpcard Classic IVS_SCSI.device
IVS Trumpcard Professional IVS_SCSIpro.device

Note: Capitals and quotes are important, as device handlers are case sensitive.
