What's a good LCD TV for Picasso IV?
« on: September 16, 2007, 12:37:40 AM »
I've recently had a nasty accident with the Phillips LCD TV I've been using with my 4000  :-(
Can anyone here recommend a good replacement 26" LCD TV which would work well with
the Picasso's built in flicker fixer and also capable of displaying half decent resolutions?

I've found that as long as you force 60Hz native modes, i.e. the NTSC tool type in WHDload, almost any screen will work with the PIV.

Hi,

I use a "Swisstech" brand of 15 inch Mon/TV with my PIV which is installed in my desktop A4K in through the VGA adapter. This Mon/TV was bought at Tescos in the UK.

I also have my CD 32 in on the composite socket and my EyeTech Towered A1200 Blizzard 1240/40 SCSI in on the Scart socket. The picture quality is very good.

Also, I bought a UMC (Slovac) branded 15 inch TV/Mon which appears to be the same as the "Swisstech" with a small black border around the screen. Again the picture quality is very good.

Kind Regards, Michael
