Blizzard 2040 to 2060 Upgrade question
« on: August 25, 2007, 06:19:19 PM »
I have a Blizzard 2040 that I am upgrading to a 2060. I have the new 50MHZ crystal installed along with the voltage regulator on the board. I am wondering if I need a full 060 for this conversion to work or if I can use the LC060 for this? I know the LC060 does have the MMU but not the FPU so if the 3.1 rom is to be mapped into fast-ram I should be OK with the LC for testing anyways.
The other question is are there any jumpers or solder-pads that I need to change from the 040 to the 060 chip conversion?

Thanx
